Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, consists of simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter his or her age or physical ability. It is a complete science that includes breath (pranayam), yoga postures (asanas), sound, chanting (mantra) and meditation. It is designed to provide you with the experience of your highest consciousness through the raising of your Kundalini. Attend the classes at on Campus which run every Monday, Tuesday and Friday in U008 (Brockington Extention).
Badminton
If you don’t know what badminton is…for shame. Come and try out your skills against our little gem of a player Onkar on Wednesdays. If you beat him, he’ll give you a pound.
Football
Again no description neeeded but do join in the fun. The sessions run on a regular basis usually on Saturdays.
Gurmukhi Class
The Sikh Gurus created a unique language in which most Sikh scriptures are compiled. The foundation of Gurmukhi is Punjabi so you can get better at both!
Joint Events with Hindu and Indian Socs
We have lots of opportunities to mingle with other societies including the Hindu and Indian Societies. As a member of Sikh Soc you can also attend Hindu Soc sports events like netball and khabadhi for free.
